Preliminaries Resume After New Year's Break

Taiwanese A-League preliminaries will resume on February 1 after 10 day's Chinese New Year breaks. Jutai Tech and SINA both jumped to an early 2-0 lead in this single-round robin games before the long vacation.

Meantime, local hoop star Cheng Chih-lung, who plays for Dacin this year, was charged for drunken driving the other night during a minor auto accident and will face the court trial in the next few weeks. He is expected to be fined but will not be in jail.
