Defending champion Taipei Physical Education College (TPEC) beat Chinese Culture University (CCU) 88-83 on Nov. 30, finishing the Group A preliminary round 5-0 and extended its winning streak to 151 games.
Hsu Wei-shen led TPEC with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Lin Tsun-ching also had 19. Chang Yu-lin added 16 points. CCU was led by Sun Huan-bo's 27 points.
Preliminary round of Group B will be played from Dec. 20-27.
