Lin Chi-jay had 37 points and 13 rebounds as Taiwan Beer beat Sina 97-76 and clinched the final playoff seed on the final day of the regular season. TB and ETSN both finished 16-14 but TB advanced by a better head-to-head record(3W-2L).
With his 37-point output, Lin Chi-jay also repeated as SBL's leading scorer. Lin averaged 22.8 points per game over Dacin forward Tien Lei's 22.64 points. But Tien Lei also led the league in rebounding for the second year in a row, averaging 10.7 per game.
Yulon overcame an eight point halftime deficit and beat Videoland 90-82 in the final regular season game to finish 25-5. Videoland lost its fourth straight game and tied Dacin with 18-12, but VL will get the second seed because of a better head-to-head record vs. Dacin.(3W-2L)
