Taiwan Beer gave a new meaning to the word "up-and-down" Sunday. The Beermen first led by as many as 14 in the first half, and trailed by 11 in the fourth period before closing the game with an unanswered 10-0 rally for a 92-89 victory over Dacin Tigers.
Lo Shin-liang's consecutive threes sparked TB for the final run. Ho Sho-jen had two fastbreak layups as Taiwan Beer came from behind and silence Tigers fans. Dacin had a final shot with 6 seconds to go but Tien Lei fumbled the ball away.
Lin Chih-jay almost had a triple-double, tallying 20 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Lo Shin-liang had 19 points, shooting 5-of-8 from threes. Ho Sho-jen added 18. Center Wu Chih-yuan had 12 and 7.
Dacin was led by Yao Jun-jay, who was 11-of-14 in the game, came from nowhere and scored 12 of his career-high 23 points in the third quarter and helped Dacin regain the momentum midway through the final period when it led by 11.
Chang Chi-feng had 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Tien followed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assist. Su Yi-chieh turned in 12 point, 7 boards and 6 assists. Lin Yi-huei added 13.
Dacin guard Wang Chih-chun sprained his ankle and was expected to be out for two weeks, which is a devastating blow to lowly Tigers (2-3).
