For those who care deeply about the Jones Cup

I’m writing this post as the general reply for those who have written me.

Around this time every year when the Williams Jones Cup is being held, I would receive numerous emails from players’ parents, friends and fans asking where they could find a link to the online stream of the games.

Honestly, I have no idea, despite I know there would be some links created by the always passionate Filipino fans when the men’s competition is on -- if the Philippines NT is in the tourney.

But I do know that if you install this software, which is very popular in Taiwan and China, you could watch the game live on Taiwan’s sports channel Videoland (緯來體育台).

However, there is a precondition that you must understand Chinese to install the software. Maybe you can try.

On the other hand, I have been spending less time in recent years to write on this blog as you can see. At present I cover mostly politics. Which is why I have not been able to update game information regularly in a timely fashion. I’ll update information which I think is important when I have time.

Here is the official website of the Jones Cup this year. Perhaps you could find information you need, such as game results, photos and boxscores on the site.

Again, it’s in Chinese -- with some English translation.
