Jones Cup Day 2: Lebanon beat Philippines at buzzer

With three seconds remaining and the score tied at 62 all, El Fadi Khatib led a last-possession fastbreak and dished out to Rony Fahed, who fired a desperation three-pointer from the right wing. The desperation shot banked in at the buzzer to give Lebanon a dramatic 65-62 come-from-behind victory over the Philippines, which led in the first 30 minutes but bowed out after a 21-10 final quarter.

Iran shot the lights out in the final 20 minutes to break open a tight game with a 54-35 second half and beat host Taiwan 85-69. Iran made 12 threes in the game.

Taiwan struggled from the perimeter for the second consecutive game, only making 4 of 28 from the three-point line. After a 34-31 first half, Taiwan's zone defense failed to contain Iran's red hot outside shooting.

Wu Dai-hao did turn in one of his best performances in a Taiwan NT uniform, scoring 21 points on 9 of 12 shooting, including 15 points and 6 for 7 in the first half.
