Jones Cup Day 5 - Taiwan knocks out Kazakhstan

Wu Dai-hao had a double-double in the victory.

-- Taiwan 72-64 Kazakhstan

Taiwan's "Twin Tower" got plenty of help tonight. Yang Che-yi led a 13-0 run in the third quarter and the Twin Tower Tsun Wen-din and Wu Dai-hao were still brilliant as Taiwan beat Kazakhstan 72-64 for its third win in the tournament.

The unanswered run sparked a 20-10 third quarter, when Taiwan played its best zone defense in the tourney so far, to open Taiwan's lead to 58-45 going into the final quarter. Kazakhstan couldn't drain their outside shots and never recovered.
