Jones Cup Day 3: Taiwan lost to Jordan

Taiwan, which led by as many as 11 in the first half, showed its inconsistency again and was outmuscled and outhustled by Jordanian. Jordan turned the game around in the second half, outscored the home team 45-23.

Taiwan simply collapsed in the final quarter, when it made only three baskets and scored 9 points. As a team, the home team only dished out 7 assists.

Point guard Lee Hsueh-lin led Taiwan with 17 points. Tsun Wen-din had 12 while Chen Hsin-an added 10.

-- AIA 79-65 South Korea

AIA took away what South Korea does best -- three-point shooting -- by limiting Koreans to 3 of 23 from the three-point land and cruised for an easy 79-65 victory, handing South Korea its first loss in the tournament.
