Lin Chih-chieh has re-signed with Zhejiang Lions for three years with an annual salary of 1.8 million Chinese Yuan (US$277,220), an 80 percent increase from his previous contract with the team, the Chinese language newspaper Liberty Times reported.

The 192cm forward signed with Zhejiang in 2009 for two years with an annual salary of one million Yuan (US$154,010). He did not confirm the signing.

Lin appeared in 26 games in the 2010-11 season, averaging 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals for the 18-14 Lions, which ranked fifth in the 17-team CBA.

A CBA team reportedly tried to sign Lin with an annual salary of 2.5 million Yuan.

Zhejiang was also reportedly to be in contact with Taiwan Beer and Taiwan NT center Wu Tai-hao, who has made clear he will play next season in China.
