White Team beat Red Team 123-106 in the annual SBL All-Star Game Sunday as Dacin forward Tien Lei was named MVP by scoring 16 points and entertaining the crowd with two power dunks in the final period.
However, this was the first non-sellout All-Star Game in four years which suggested the league might be facing problems. Tien's MVP was also questionable because he didn't have a brilliant game. The MVP trophy might as well gone to Lo Shin-liang or Lee Chi-yi. Tien himself was even surprised at the MVP voting results.
