Chen Hsin-an returned to the court for the first time since the season opener and had an above-average performance of 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, but Taiwan Beer spoiled the party with a 82-79 win as Yulon was knocked down from the No. 1 spot it claimed one day earlier.
Dacin, which defeated Taiwan Mobile 92-76 Saturday, was back on top at 11-3 and Yulon (10-3) fell a half game behind.
TB opened the high-intensity game with a 19-5 run. Yulon quickly recovered and stayed close for most of the game but failed to take advantage of TB's foul trouble. Lin Chih-chieh and Wu Tai-hao were both plagued by early foul trouble. Lin had four fouls with 4:30 to go in the first half while Wu was also whistled for two quick fouls in the first half.
Tien Lei recovered from the worst game of his career and chipped in 18 points, including four dunks. Byron Allem also had his best game of the season, scoring 21 and pulling down 11 boards, in the win that handed TM its 4th consecutive loss.
