UBA Women: CCU wins 13th UBA crown

Led by Chen Yu-chun's 26 points, Chinese Culture University (CCU) beat Naitonal Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) 77-63 to win its 13th UBA women's title in school history. Not surprising if you understand that most CCU players also play for perenial WSBL power Cathay Life.

CCU defended its crown and snapped NTNU's 14-game win streak.

In the bronze medal game, National Taipei University of Education (NTEU) beat Fo Gunag University, who made its first UBA final four appearance, 80-71.

In the cross-over semifinal, CCU pounded Fo Guang Univ. 94-48 and NTNU routed NTUE 95-72.

On Tuesday, NTSU-Taichung edged Taipei Physical Education College (TPEC) to win the fifth place and Shih Hsin University finished 7th after a 74-69 win over NTSU-Taoyuan.
